Social Media Analyst, Scary Mommy (#1 parent brand on Facebook)

Led by a team that includes the former co-founder of Diapers.com (sold to Amazon), the head of digital at The New York Times and the Entertainment Industry Manager at Facebook, Some Spider is a profitable digital media & entertainment company backed by Marc Lore and Vinit Bharara.

We’re home to two channels: Scary Mommy (the biggest parenting property in the country, reaching over 100 million people each month), and CAFE (2016's breakout news and humor brand, reaching over 60 million people each month), both built for mobile and social. And we plan to launch more.

About the Role:

Fresh off our Series A funding round, we’re now building out our content and marketing teams, and looking for an exceptional talent who—using analytics and testing and working with our Analytics team— will help us grow Scary Mommy’s social presence even further.

Responsibilities:

  • Tag all content (articles, images and videos) provided by Scary Mommy editorial before posting, so subsequent analysis can be performed
  • Schedule all posting of Scary Mommy primary social channels on a daily basis
  • A/B test headlines, images and status copy
  • Work closely with our Data Team to monitor, analyze and optimize posting based on KPI’s

Qualifications:

  • Ability to curate content in a voice organic to Facebook and other social channels.
  • Unhealthy obsession with social media, its trends and tools.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and strong analytically
  • Ability to work as part of a team on deadline in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sense of humor!
